Data Subject Rights and Complaints
How to ask EriWave about personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and complaints.
Introduction
You can ask EriWave questions about your personal data and request appropriate action. You will not be charged merely for making a genuine privacy request.
Requests you can make
You may ask EriWave to:
- Confirm whether it processes your personal data.
- Explain why the data is used and who receives it.
- Give you a copy of eligible personal data.
- Correct inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading data.
- Delete data that is no longer required and has no other lawful basis for retention.
- Restrict processing while accuracy, an objection, or a legal claim is reviewed.
- Consider an objection to processing.
- Record withdrawal of consent where consent is the applicable basis.
- Provide human review of a significant solely automated decision.
- Explain the source of information not collected directly from you.
How to submit a request
Email privacy@eriwave.com with:
- Your full name.
- The email address or phone number associated with EriWave.
- A clear description of the request.
- The agreement number or workspace name, if relevant.
Do not send a raw NIN, password, or verification selfie by ordinary email.
Identity confirmation
EriWave must confirm that a person making a request is entitled to receive or change the data concerned.
We may ask you to complete a secure verification step. We will not request more information than is reasonably needed for that purpose.
What happens next
EriWave will acknowledge the request, record it securely, and explain the next step.
We will respond without unreasonable delay. If a request is complex, affects another person's rights, or requires information from a service provider, we will explain what is happening.
If EriWave cannot complete all or part of a request, we will explain the reason and any available complaint route.
Complaints
Send complaints to privacy@eriwave.com.
Include what happened, when it happened, the people or agreement involved, and the outcome you are requesting. Do not include unnecessary identity information.
You may also complain directly to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Visit https://ndpc.gov.ng for current contact and complaint information.
No retaliation
EriWave must not punish, blacklist, or reduce a worker's access merely because the worker made a genuine privacy request, correction request, wage complaint, or complaint about an employer report.
